課題のきっかけ
Inspirations
Thomas Forsyth - Drawing Tops
Spinner top made with pen and wood piece. When it spins, it draws line.
I am amazed by how he use daily object to make this work. There is small satisfaction and surprise. Someone could have done it before but haven't. There is no forcing too combine two existing elements.
ペンと木の部品を組み合わせた駒である。廻せばそれにあわせて線が描かれる。
身近にある物を使って作られている所に惹かれた。思いつきそうで思いつかなかった喜びがそこにはある。無理矢理二つの違う事を引っ付けたようにも思わない。
Yuta Watanabe - A Dozen Pencil
This project demonstrate object could have more than what designer intended to design initially. Observing people's act, subconscious, stereotype.
この作品はデザイナーが最初に考えて作った物の機能を超えて人は様々な使い方をする事を表している。人が無意識ですることが観察されていたり、常識と思ってる事などに目を向けられている

- Stationary/ pen, pencil, notebook, eraser,ruler , scissors, binder, clips, push pin etc..
